Emma Jolly is the deputy editor of The Columbia Chronicle in Chicago.

Emma is a motivated student at Columbia College Chicago with professional experience in writing, photography and editing. She will be graduating in May with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.

Originally from Joliet, Illinois, Emma grew up reading books, creating art and spending time outside in the sun. Emma’s passion for writing and photography comes from her ever-present curiosity about the world around her. Since moving to Chicago, that inquisitive mindset has only deepened, pushing Emma to continue exploring the world as a journalist. She aims to keep humanity at the heart of each project.
